February 3 was really cold! The thermometer registered about 20 below zero and wind chill pushed it to 40 or so below zero. The scheduled mission team for the week was Mickie Reinke's confirmation group. We met at The Daily Grind with snow suits, hot chocolate, and plenty of energy. We had to jump start the truck, generators, and on board heater; we navigated through ice and frozen water lines; we prepared a hot meal and served about 125 people. Those who come to the truck on really cold days are the most in need. We also gave away 2 cubic yards of clothes. The girls are writing the next article!
