JESUS Delivers Food Ministry
Chicken Soup for the Homeless Souls

Or more accurately, chicken wild rice - chili - "goolosh" for the homeless souls. Heartfelt thanks to Phyllis and Don , the Ruth and Rebekah Circles, Amy and Joe, and the Hearts of the Home Moms - you literally changed the substance of the JESUS Delivers ministry! Of the ten mission trips this year through April 21, "Church Home Cookin" has been the feature of six of them. Customer feedback speaks for itself:

"...do you have any more of that cornbread...it's heaven with that chili..."
"...I think this chicken wild rice soup is God's soup..."
"...who made this goolosh? I haven't had this since I was a kid...you know eating this brings back memories of church..."
"...those brownies and rocky road bars are divine! Can I have two more?"
"...God bless the cooks, I feel the love in the chili...can I have another bowl?"
"...thank you for this Easter blessing..."

Organizing a "Church Home Cookin" experience is simple. A cook team gets together at church or at a home and prepares 12 gallons of a thick soup or casserole one or two days prior to a mission trip. The cook team stores the food in one of the church refrigerators. The truck team picks up and serves the meal.
