There are many ways to be a part of the JESUS Delivers Ministry.
Serving on the Truck
As an individual, you might want to volunteer time on a current serving day Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday.
As an organizer, you might assemble your own team (family, friends, colleagues) and serve during an open
date. As a member of a church, you might become a mission leader and convince your congregation to
serve on a regular basis.
Church Home Cookin
Many volunteer to prepare hot meals in
their church kitchens. Goolosh, chili, pulled pork, roast beef, chicken wild rice soup, and turkey have been popular
choices. The meals can be prepared the day before (refrigerated storage) and then be picked up by the mission team on
their serving day.
Church Outfitters
Put a large laundry bin in your narthex and advertise
for seasonal clothing and other necessary accessories. Church members can drop their goods off in the bin to be distributed
garage sale style on the serving day.
