JESUS Delivers is a joint ministry between The St. Paul Evangelistic Association food shelf and The Lord Jesus Christ Church (West St. Paul), Trinity Lutheran Church (Stillwater), Our Saviour's Lutheran (East Bethel), Bethlehem Lutheran In the Midway (St. Paul), and River Valley Church (Apple Valley). Modeled after the home grocer, SimonDelivers (now CoburnsDelivers), the ministry serves
about 250 lunches 4 to 5 times per week to the St. Paul homeless community using a mobile kitchen and lay ministry volunteers. Since October 2004, JESUS
Delivers has served over 175,000 meals, donated over 150 cubic yards of clothes, given away 3000 backpacks,
tents, sleeping bags and another 3000 bibles.
A MEMBER OF I Can Help Twin Cities
JESUS Delivers is an organizational member of the KTIS volunteer network called I Can Help Twin Cities. We can be viewed under the 'Food Service' category.
A TYPICAL DAY
A typical serving day for a
team of volunteers includes a morning (9 to noon) spent preparing a meal (food provided) for 250 people, an afternoon
(12:30 to 3:30) serving it from inside the truck, and the last hour cleaning and sanitizing. See

GETTING ORGANIZED
Currently there are five churches that organize volunteer teams to prepare
and serve the meals.
Bethlehem Lutheran Church organizes Mondays;
The Lord Jesus Christ Church
organizes Tuesdays;
Our Saviour's Lutheran Church organizes Thursdays;
Trinity Lutheran
Church organizes Saturdays; and
River Valley Church organizes Sundays. See
